Pondering Faith

One Step Towards Green

It’s a little thing, but I’m proud of it. We bought reusable, earth-friendly grocery bags. Kroger had them on sale for a dollar, so we picked some up, and used them. That’s 8 less bags that Kroger will have to order per trip. Seeing as we go to the grocery store once per week, we will save more than 400 bags per year.

Using the bags proved to be very convenient. They held much more than the plastic bags, and really worked well. They are strong and well made, especially considering the price. It’s one small step for us, but if everyone did it, it could be a giant leap for mankind.

Thank you to Kroger for making these bags available and affordable.
